The meaning of Lord Ganapathi is the "Lord of the Ganas". In vedic puranas and bhuddist culture Maha Ganapathi is called as Vinyaka.In south India he called as Pillaiyar. the maha ganapathi homam, worshiping lord ganaesha gives us health, wealth and all prosperity in our life. Maha Ganapathi Homam removes all obstacles in our life and gives us victory. Maha Ganapathi homam mainly did while ghravhapravesham (entering into new house). It is also good to perform while entering into rented house also.
